ADBLUE CANCELLATION
What is ADBLUE?
AdBlue is a chemical used to control and reduce emissions of diesel-powered vehicles. AdBlue is used as part of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems and is particularly effective for reducing nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in the exhaust gases of diesel vehicles.
AdBlue is a liquid consisting of a mixture of pure water and pure urea. The SCR system works with a catalyst integrated into the vehicles' exhaust system. As the exhaust gases pass over this catalyst, the SCR system injects AdBlue, which reacts with the exhaust gases. As a result of this chemical reaction, NOx gases turn into less harmful nitrogen and water vapor.
Cancellation of AdBlue may be considered for the following reasons:
Performance Enhancement: When AdBlue is used, it has an effect on the power and torque of the engine. The cancellation of AdBlue aims to increase this effect.
Reducing Maintenance Costs: AdBlue system may create an extra maintenance cost for vehicle owners. AdBlue tanks need to be filled, which requires extra expense and labor. Cancellation of AdBlue may be intended to avoid these costs.
